ITANAGAR, Jun 6: Four athletes from Arunachal Pradesh namely, Golum Tinku, Sankar Lapung, Markio Tario and Boni Mankhiya have been selected for the Commonwealth Senior (Men & Women), Junior (Men & Women) and Youth (Boys & Girls) Weightlifting Championships 2023 to be held at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh from July 11 to 17 next.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pema Khandu has extended his congratulations to the four athletes on their selection to represent India in the Commonwealth Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships and conveyed his best wishes for the same.
