Sona attends NESt Fest closing ceremony in New Delhi

ITANAGAR, Sep 17: State Assembly Speaker P D Sona, who attended the closing ceremony of the North East Students’ Festival (NESt Fest) at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi on Saturday, has commended the ‘My Home India (MHI)’, the organizer of the event for its vital steps in promoting cross-cultural understanding and unity between the Northeast states and the rest of the country.

NESt Fest, the largest gathering of North East students in the national capital region, has consistently drawn participants from all eight NE states, with over 10,000 enthusiastic students attending every year.

Addressing the massive gathering, Sona expressed his deep honor at being a part of the event that brought the vibrant cultures and talents of the eight Northeastern states to the rest of India.
