ITANAGAR, Feb 11: Khelo India Women’s (U-15) Football League 2023-24 got underway at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Naharlagun on Saturday, as Queen United FC, Naharlagun FC and Nirjuli FC registered victories on the opening day.
The Khelo India U-15 WFL was kicked off in presence of Orin Lego, administrative officer (Arunachal Pradesh Football Association) as chief guest and Tarh Sumpi Ramching, secretary Women Football Committee as guest of honour.
In all, three matches were played on the first day.
The first match played between KV FC and Queen United FC saw the latter winning the match 2-0.
In the second match, Naharlagun FC defeated Preety warrior 3-1.
The third and last match of the day witnessed Nirjuli FC thrashing Ganga FC victorious 5-1.
