ITANAGAR, Feb 12: Union Minister of Earth Sciences, Kiren Rijiju today handed over appointment letters to 23 newly inducted appointees in various departments and ministries of the Central Government in a Rozgar Mela held at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force’s North East Frontier Headquarters at Itanagar.
Rijiju distributed the job letters to the new recruits physically as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12th edition of Rozgar Mela. PM Modi distributed more than one lakh appointment letters to the newly inducted recruits at 46 locations across the country through video conferencing. The Prime Minister also addressed the appointees virtually motivating them to serve the nation with zest and zeal.
During the event, PM Modi also launched the online module on iGOT Karmayogi portal by pressing the remote button.
Congratulating the newly inducted youths at the Itanagar center, the Union Minister urged them to contribute in the mission of making a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. He said that a lot of responsibility falls on those recruited today as they are the ones who will be shaping the nation in the next 25 years. He asked all to work towards a common goal of making India a developed nation.
Highlighting the work of the Modi government, Rijiju said through the Rozgar Mela, the present government aims at providing employment in a transparent way and within a set time frame.
He added that the Rozgar Mela is expected to leverage further employment generation, provide gainful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and direct participation in national development.
