KOLORIANG, Feb 12: An NDRF team from Doimukh conducted a district level mock exercise on the earthquake scenario in coordination with the district administration and other stakeholders at Parsi-Parlo circle of Kurung Kumey district on February 8 last.
The mock exercise was conducted in presence of i/c CO Parsi-Parlo Bengia Raja and i/c DDMO K Kholie under the supervision of Deputy Commandant, 12 Bn NDRF, Anand Patel. A tabletop exercise was conducted on February 7.
The mock drill was started with meticulous planning on the collapsed structure scenario by earthquake. During the mock exercise, the NDRF team demonstrated collapse structure search and rescue operation by cutting methods, medical first aid technique, evacuation and rope rescue techniques were demonstrated to save the trapped victims.
