Army extends support to girls’ school under Op Sadbhavana

TAWANG, Apr 2: The Indian Army’s Blazing Sword Division today undertook a project under Operation Sadbhavana for the provision of furniture and stationeries to Thubten Choeling Balika Vidyalaya, Lhou in Tawang district.

School items worth Rs 8.5 lakh were handed over to the school headmaster by the battalion commander in presence of Gaon Burah and other important figures of the village.

This project has been undertaken with an aim of enhancing the quality of education in remote areas of the state. The children of the school performed a mesmerizing cultural program during the event as thanks-giving to the Indian Army. (DIPRO)
