ITANAGAR, May 14: The Arunachal Pradesh Government has ordered to cancel the recent illegal appointments of 20 individuals as work-charged (WC) staff in the Public Health Engineering and Water Supply Department, under Miao circle in Changlang district.
In an order issued by PHE & Water Supply Dept Secretary A K Singh on Tuesday, it was revealed that the fresh appointments of 20 individuals were made in violation of the laid down procedures and without sanctioned posts.
“Hence, Govt approval has been obtained for cancellation of the illegally appointed WC staff under Miao circle,” said the Secretary and directed the appointing authority Superintending Engineer, PHE&WS Circle Miao to immediately issue formal orders for cancellation of the appointments of the 20 illegally appointed WC staffers.
