DC urges strict monitoring of developmental works

TAWANG, Jul 10: Tawang Deputy Commissioner Kanki Darang today said that all the developmental works should be monitored strictly by executing agencies, ensuring that the quality of work was maintained.

The DC said this while chairing the first District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting of the current financial year 2024-25 convened here today to review the progress and achievements of various developmental activities including centrally sponsored and State sponsored programmes in the district.

He also stressed on timely completion and submission of utilisation certificates of the projects completed. He asked the Health Department to expedite saturation of AB-PMJAY which is under saturation tracker.

EAC cum DPO Tawang, Sangey Wangmu Mosobi asked the departments to segregate and underline the issues in their projects so that in next DLMC meeting the focus can be on those points for solutions.

The executing agencies gave power-point presentations indicating their achievements and progress of the ongoing projects during the meeting, which was attended by Jang ADC Hakraso Kri, DRDO PD Tenzin Jambey, Executive Engineers of all works departments, and all the head of departments implementing the CSS and State welfare schemes in the district.
