Nyigyor urges officials to improve their work culture

ITANAGAR, Jul 12: State Assembly Deputy Speaker Kardo Nyigyor has urged the government officials to improve their work culture.

Addressing the senior district officials during a coordination meeting at Likabali on Friday, he said government officials must be skilled and equipped in their respective trade for higher productivity.

Nyigyor, who represents Likabali constituency in the Assembly, reiterated his commitment to complete all the ongoing projects. He said a coordination meeting of all government departments will be convened soon to devise proper framework for development.

Assuring to address the water-logging problem of Liru village and other vulnerable areas of Likabali township, he said the projects have already been sanctioned.

The Deputy Speaker expressed concern over the damages to Likabali to Durpai road and Garu to Gensi road due to rain-triggered floods and landslides.

Highlighting the loss of properties due to floods, he asked the Lower Siang district administration to properly assess the losses.

The meeting was attended by Nari-Koyu MLA Tojir Kadu, Lower Siang Deputy Commissioner Rujjum Rakshap, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Marpe Nguba, and HoDs.
