ITANAGAR, Jul 31: Chief Minister Pema Khandu, along with Deputy CM Chowna Mein, called on Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju at the latter’s office in the Parliament House, New Delhi on Wednesday.
“Discussed the development of Arunachal Pradesh, sought help for infrastructure from Ministry of Minority Affairs, and also shared a copy of the memorandum submitted to PM Narendra Modi ji with a request for support,” Khandu posted on X after the meeting.
On Sunday, CM Khandu made a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and “sought his continued blessings and guidance for Arunachal Pradesh”.
Showering his praise on the Arunachal West Lok Sabha MP, the CM said, “Rijiju ji is a great source of strength and guidance for us, and his insights are extremely useful in matters of the state's all-round progress.”
