TEZU, Jul 31: In the run up to the Independence Day celebrations, Bamboosa Library Tezu is organizing a series of quiz competitions on “India & the Freedom Struggle” for students of classes 6 to 12, with a view to promoting national awareness among the local youth.
In a keenly contested quiz on Akashvani Tezu for secondary schools on July 18, VKV Tafrogam (team of Nangram Nayu, Abeshi Chaitom & Tonam Tayeng) won the first prize. Krik & Boury Memorial School, Tezu (team Bediye Chaitom, Balo Flago & Vandana Manyu) and VKV Sunpura (team of Mumseng Mingki, Wulahi Tacho & Emume Mihu) bagged 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.
The quiz contest for classes 9 & 10 students saw Govt Sec School Telluliang (Sony Rai, Anu Kumari & Nangkong Ngusang) emerging as the winners, followed by Govt Hr Sec School No. 2 (Gingmanso Longling, Benamso Khamblai & Ramen Ngadong) as the runners-up.
