Raksha Bandhan celebration on in befitting manner

ITANAGAR, Aug 17: The local RajYoga center of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya (PBKIVV) started celebrating the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan in a befitting manner with a 10-day programme from 11th to 20th August in and around the capital complex at Itanagar, Pasighat, Bomdila, Tawang, etc. with a message to promote universal brotherhood for establishing communal and religious harmony & social cohesion, as it is observed worldwide by PBKIVV.

On 11th August, Raksha Bandhan was celebrated in morning for BKs and well- wishers with message of achieving victory over negativities/vices.

In the evening, a ‘Spiritual Get-Together-Cum-Deliberation’ was organized in the local Brahma Kumari centre at Bank Tinali, Itanagar which was attended by many luminaries.

On 14th August, a team of Brahma Kumaris led by BK Junu, Manager, PBKIVV, Itanagar and Prof Jayadeba Sahoo, senior trainer faculty, Brahma Kumaris, RERF & ex-Dean, Dept of Education, RGU along with others called on a host of top govt officials including Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar and tied Rakhi.

On 15th August, the team of Brahma Kumaris called on Brig (Retd) Dr B D Mishra, Governor and his better half Neelam Mishra, and tied Rakhi.

A programme was also organized at ITBP HQs, Itanagar in which the officials and jawans were tied Rakhi.

On 16th August, a program was organized at Don Bosco Youth Centre in which Honchun Ngandam, Minister RWD and Subu Tabin, Director Skill Development and Entrepreneurship among others were tied Rakhi.

In another program at CRPF camp, Itanagar in which the officials and jawans were also tied Rakhi.
