HoDs urged to segregate data and schemes pertaining to KP dist from those of L/Subansiri

YACHULI, Sep 19: The monthly District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting was held today at the DCs’ conference hall, mini secretariat, Yachuli to review the progress of government schemes and flagship programmes under DISHA.

Chairing the meeting, Keyi Panyor Deputy Commissioner Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta stressed the need for executing agencies to complete projects on time without compromising quality. She announced that she will soon conduct field visits along with executing officials and urged all departments to remain proactive and follow up for timely implementation of government schemes.

All HoDs were directed to attend future meetings with adequate preparation, with no allowance for absenteeism.

During the meeting, the DLMC discussed department-wise progress and directed action on several issues.

Erring officials and staff will be issued show-cause notices by the concerned HoDs, with non-compliance leading to suspension.

Regarding MGNREGA, the DC directed the DD, RD to submit the list of approved works within a week.

For PMGSY projects, the EE, RWD was instructed to expedite completion of Pitapool–Rub and Shalley–Rubdi road projects, with field visits to be conducted for all ongoing works.

Highways officials were directed to report and stop such activities including earth cutting and illegal construction along NH-13 RoW.

Moreover, all HoDs were urged to segregate data and schemes pertaining to Keyi Panyor district from those of Lower Subansiri, to ensure clarity in reporting and implementation.

The meeting also emphasized accountability, timely reporting, and better coordination among departments to ensure effective execution of government schemes in Keyi Panyor district.
