Itanagar, Nov 4: Former Itanagar Capital Region (ICR) Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom, who was arrested in connection with the abetment case of late Gomchu Yekar, has been granted bail by the District and Sessions Court, Yupia.
Potom was released on bail upon furnishing a personal bond of Rs one lakh, subject to several conditions. The court directed that he must appear before the investigating officer whenever required, cooperate fully with the investigation, and refrain from making any inducement, threat, or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case.
In its order, the court observed that no prima facie evidence had been found linking Potom to the case related to Yekar’s death.
