LIKABALI, Nov 29: The NCORD meeting for the month of October 2025 was successfully conducted at the DC’s conference hall here in Lower Siang district today.
Chairing the meeting, ADC Likabali Mokar Riba highlighted the need for strong inter-departmental coordination to effectively combat drug abuse, trafficking, and related challenges within the district.
The ADC further urged all stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, intensify outreach and awareness programmes, and ensure sustained support for rehabilitation and preventive initiatives.
Gothombu Dajangju, Superintendent of Police Lower Siang, addressed the gathering, followed by a briefing from M Wangjen, SI, who presented updates on recent enforcement activities, ongoing cases, and stressed the importance of continuous vigilance and community-level awareness.
During the session, all participating departments shared their status reports, challenges faced, and future action plans aimed at achieving a drug-free Lower Siang.
The meeting concluded with a collective commitment from all members to work together for the safety, well-being, and long-term welfare of the district. (DIPRO)
