‘Thorough understanding and clarity are essential to ensure ensuing elections a grand success’: AC Rikang

YUPIA, Nov 29: As part of the ensuing statewide Panchayati Raj Elections 2025, the first phase of training for the drafted presiding officers and polling officers was successfully conducted at Kimin on November 27 and at Balijan on November 28.

The training sessions were led by Master Trainer Dani Rikang, Assistant Commissioner, along with trainers B K Tripathi and Manoj Bishwakarma, who jointly facilitated comprehensive sessions covering roles, responsibilities, procedures, and protocols essential for the smooth conduct of elections.

Addressing the participants, AC Rikang underscored the critical importance of the training and urged all presiding and polling officers to get clarified any doubts, however minor, during the sessions. She stressed that thorough understanding and clarity are essential to ensure that the forthcoming elections are conducted in an error-free, transparent, and efficient manner.

The AC further highlighted the significance of the training, emphasizing that well-trained officials are the backbone of a successful electoral process.

She reiterated that the training is mandatory for all drafted officers/ officials, and directed that attendance is compulsory.

She further appealed to all concerned to take the sessions seriously, as their preparedness directly impacts the integrity and smooth conduct of the forthcoming Panchayat Elections 2025.

The next phase of training for presiding and polling officers is scheduled to be held on December 2 at Yupia.

She further directed all the drafted officers/ officials to attend the trainings positively and without fail. (DIPRO)
