Arunachal BJP celebrates party’s victory in Maha civic body polls

Itanagar, Jan 16: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Arunachal Pradesh, on Friday celebrated the party’s landslide victory in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections and other civic body polls held across Maharashtra. The historic mandate was described as a strong endorsement of the BJP’s leadership, policies, and development-oriented governance.

BJP’s state vice president Dunggoli Libang and state general secretary Tadar Niglar, along with senior karyakartas and party workers, marked the occasion with enthusiasm and collective spirit. The celebration included bursting of crackers and the sharing of rasmalai as a victory sweet, symbolising joy, unity, and gratitude for the people’s overwhelming support.

Speaking on the occasion, party leaders said that the resounding victory reflects the growing trust of citizens in the BJP’s commitment to transparent administration, efficient urban governance, and people-centric development. They stated that the mandate in Maharashtra’s civic body elections, particularly in the BMC, highlights public confidence in the party’s ability to strengthen grassroots democracy and deliver results at the municipal level.

The leaders further noted that the success is a testament to the tireless efforts of party karyakartas and the effective implementation of welfare initiatives aimed at inclusive growth and an improved quality of life for all sections of society. They added that the victory also reinforces the BJP’s vision of cooperative federalism and strong local self-governance.
