PASIGHAT, Jan 16: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Sonalika Jiwani took a review of various ongoing developmental and infrastructures projects being implemented by government departments, during a Monthly District level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting held at the DC’s conference hall here today.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed that effective inter-departmental coordination and timely consultation during both planning and implementation stages are crucial for ensuring seamless execution and time bound completion of infrastructure projects.
The DC asked the stakeholder departments to go for regular consultations by addressing inter-departmental issues at planning stage itself and exuded confidence in the collaborative and convergence spirit of the departments for the common goal to make East Siang one of the best performing and progressive districts and for achieving 100% target achievements in all sectors in health, education, social welfare and all-round development parameters.
The DC stated this while taking a comprehensive review of all Central Sponsored Schemes (CSS), State Sponsored Schemes and flagship schemes.
Moreover, the DC stressed the need on capacity building for empowering youth, SHGs, farmers, artisans and craftsmen.
Among others, the DLMC meeting was attended by DPO Tatak Mibang, HoOs and HoDs of line departments and stakeholder departments. (DIPRO)
