Itanagar, Feb 17: The Career Guidance & Placement (CGP) Cell of Don Bosco College, Jollang, in collaboration with Success Point, organised a one-day workshop on Civil Service Examination preparation with the objective of creating awareness and motivating young aspirants towards prestigious civil services.
Principal of Don Bosco College, Fr Jose George delivered a felicitation address and an inspiring message, emphasising the crucial role of civil servants in nation-building. He urged students to cultivate integrity, commitment, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Earlier, the programme began with a welcome address by CGP Cell coordinator Dr Tenzing N Drangtzidar, who highlighted the importance of early planning, discipline, and perseverance for students aspiring to join civil services. He encouraged students to remain focused and make informed career choices.
The technical sessions were conducted by resource persons Ashish Ranjan and Akshay Jain from Success Point, Itanagar. They provided a comprehensive overview of the Civil Service Examination pattern, covering the Preliminary, Mains, and Interview stages. They also shared practical preparation strategies, structured study plans, time management techniques, and guidance on selecting optional subjects.
An interactive session followed, during which students clarified their doubts and sought personalised advice. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 200 students across various streams, who actively engaged in the discussions.
