NHM bid to ‘equip’ DMOs, DRCHOs, DPMs with DHAP/SPIP preps

ITANAGAR, Nov 7: A one day state level workshop on preparation of District Health Action Plan (DHAP) for financial year 2020-21 under NHM for District Medical Officers, District RCH Officers and District Program Managers was conducted in a city hotel here today.

The workshop, organized by National Health Mission, Arunachal Pradesh, was aimed at orienting the participants on preparation of a good DHAP.

The participants were sensitized on the Govt of India’s guidelines for preparation of DHAP with inputs from all State Program officers and nodal officers for RMNCHA, health system strengthening and all vertical programs.

Dr D Padung, NHM nodal officer presented the details on the intricacies of preparation of DHAP and State Program Implementation Plan (SPIP) under NHM for the year 2020-21.

He explained about the technical details and the various guidelines as to how it could be used for preparation of a robust DHAP/SPIP for Arunachal Pradesh for submission to GoI.
All the programs were represented by State Program officers and nodal officers who came up with the details of requirement in the upcoming DHAP /SPIP 2020-21. The timeline for the submission of DHAP for the districts is set for 30th November 2019, which will be followed by compilation / collation at the state level for submission to Government of India.
Dr S Bhattacharjee, Jt DHS (FW) while concluding the daylong orientation expressed his optimism that a correct, robust DHAP will be made as per timeline based on various technical analyses.
