AALO, Jan 11: As part of Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA), a review meeting was held at General Hospital, Aalo on 9th January last under the chairmanship of West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan.
On the occasion, as many as 51pregnant women were registered for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th ANC.
Aadhaar registration, USG & lab test for all pregnant women were done free of cost without User Fee while drugs & consumables were also provided to them. Under Department of Women & Child Development, 51 pregnant women registered under Pradhan Mantri Vandana Yojana were given supplementary nutrition items consisting local fruit & black gram-chana distributed.
The DC presented baby kits to new born baby girl child under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme as gifts.
