BHALUKPONG, Mar 25: Thrizino-Buragoan MLA Kumsi Sidisow today assessed the preparedness to combat the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in his home constituency.
Expressing serious concern on the outbreak of the virus across the country, the MLA said, this is high time we all have to follow the guidelines, issued by the Health department and local administration. We need to remain at home so that we remain safe and secure.
Joining the fight against Covid-19, Sidisow contributed Rs 4 lakh from his source to all four health centers of his assembly constituency, including CHC Singhchung, CHC Bhalukpong, PHC Thrizino and Sub Centre Buragoan for purchase of medical equipments viz masks, medical kits etc.
He also advised the medical officers, health workers and local citizens to maintain cleanliness in their respective places be it at home or work place.
Meanwhile, the Circuit house at Bhalukpong having around eight rooms has been designated as quarantine center. I inspected the place today and directed the local administration to ensure all facilities there, said Sidisow.
