State records four fresh COVID-19 cases, one recovers


ITANAGAR, Jun 30: The State today recorded four fresh Covid-19 cases, taking its tally of confirmed cases to 191, which 128 active cases and 62 have already cured with one casualty, according to a bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS) here late Tuesday evening.
All the cases in last 24 hours were registered in a single district - West Kameng.
Of the four COVID-19 positives reported from West Kameng, all are military personnel who have returned from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi and Maharashtra and shifted to CCC (Covid Care Centre), stated the DHS bulletin. 
All the cases have been detected from FQ (facility quarantine) and all are asymptomatic, it added.
On the optimistic end, today one positive case was released, also from West Kameng as the test results were negative for two consecutive samples as per SOP and advised for strict 14 days home quarantine and self monitoring, further stated the DHS.
Meanwhile giving a lot of breathing space to the State administration and Health department, samples collected from 24 frontline workers at SQF, Lekhi have tested negative for COVID-19 by RT-PCR, according to the DHS bulletin.
