RONO HILLS, Aug 3: Rajiv Gandhi University has expressed its profound grief on the demise of R D Pradhan, former Governor and Chancellor of the then Arunachal University.
He passed away on 31st July last.
In this regard, the RGU conducted a condolence meeting today.
Prof Saket Kushwaha, Vice Chancellor shared with the gathering that the University community remembers his contribution to the State as a whole and the University in particular and offers its prayers for eternal peace of the departed soul. Pro-VC Prof Amitava Mitra and other statutory officers were also present.
Further, the RGU community offered its sincere condolence to the family members and the near and dear ones of late Pradhan and prayed to God for bestowing them strength to bear with the trauma.
