ITANAGAR, Feb 10: In order to instill the sense of patriotism and nationalism amongst the school children, a new Hindi movie “Manikarnika- The Queen of Jhansi” was specially screened for the girl students of Itanagar Capital Complex on Sunday.
About 700 girl students of different government schools nominated by the respective school authorities attended the show. In Itanagar, the Kangana Ranaut-starrer movie was screened at Dordel Cinema, in Naharlagun it was screened at National Cinema Hall and in Nirjuli the movie was screened at Sky Digital.
The girl students were so happy and excited to see the movie as it was screened for the first time in the State by the Education Department. They expressed their gratitude to the sponsoring authority for giving them a kind of outing which was so enriching and memorable one. The program was sponsored by the Samagra Shiksha Society/ISSE, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh.
