Need to make education system stronger, smarter: AAPSU

ITANAGAR, May 15: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) said that there is urgent need to make the education system stronger and smarter for the younger generation. The apex students’ body opined this while terming the recent ‘dismal’ CBSE exams results in the State as ‘a collective failure and self-defeating for the younger generation in the long run’.

AAPSU further said there are greater demands of the educational needs which the government needs to fulfill for creating conducive environment for students in terms of infrastructure, technology and manpower. However, there is greater responsibility of the students in particular and collective effort teachers and parents. “The students with better opportunity, infrastructure, manpower of the schools in Capital Complex and district headquarters, have brought results not up to the mark which reflects negligence on the part of the students and parents as well,” it remarked.

The Union called for introspection on the results, and the students to exploit the opportunities to the maximum instead of blaming the lacunae. It also strongly demanded the government to initiate drastic step and focus on education upliftment in State in the coming session.
