ITANAGAR, Oct 30: Local MLA and Advisor to Minister Urban Development, Techi Kaso inaugurated the new Food Court & Game Zone at Dhasang Complex in Naharlagun today.
The event saw the presence of prominent dignitaries including Urban Development Minister Balo Raja, Sports Minister Kento Jini, Women and Child Development Minister Dasanglu Pul, IMC Mayor Tamme Phassang, several IMC Corporators, and the Superintendent of Police Naharlagun.
In his speech, Kaso commended the management of Dhasang Complex for their initiative in establishing an inclusive recreational center that appeals to both parents and children alike. He emphasized the importance of physical activities for children in an era dominated by smartphones and internet use. “This zone will encourage kids to step out of their rooms and engage in interactive games, providing them with a fun-filled environment that also fosters physical activity,” he said.
Phassang, the proprietor and Mayor IMC, highlighted the variety of food and beverages offered at the complex. He explained that the food court hosts multiple stores with a diverse selection of cuisines, designed to cater to various tastes. “Families can enjoy meals here, and while parents relax, their children have a safe space to engage in the game zone,” said Phassang.
