PASIGHAT, Nov 29: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu has reiterated time bound saturation of schemes, convergence efforts of line departments and comprehensive planning of proposals with a long term future vision with the spirit of ‘Team East Siang’ to take the district forward as one of the best performing districts in all sectors.
The DC reiterated this while reviewing the progress and implementation of welfare, infrastructure, agri & allied, and social sector schemes, livelihood and poverty alleviation schemes, Smart City and PMC projects at the monthly District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting held at the DC conference hall today.
Stressing the need for timely disbursement of subsidy loans for individual beneficiary schemes by banks under various Central and State sponsored schemes, the DC asked the Lead Bank Manager to look into the issue at the earliest.
Stressing on maintaining quality in infrastructure projects with a sustainable and futuristic approach, the DC also asked the executing agencies for construction of quality sports infrastructure to make Pasighat capable of holding national and international sporting events.
The DC also took stock of progress of upgradation of Bakin Pertin General Hospital to 300-bedded Hospital and various other ongoing projects under social sectors.
District Planning Officer Tatak Mibang, Lead Bank Manager P Basumatary, HoOs and HODs attended the monthly meeting. (DIPRO)
