Namsai, Jan 10: General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Indian Army’s 3 Corps, also known as Spear Corps, Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, along with Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North), Major General Manish Kumar and senior officers from the Indian Army and Assam Rifles visited the Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) on Friday.
During the visit, Lt Gen Pendharkar engaged in meaningful discussions with senior university officials, including Deans, Principals, and Directors. AUS Vice-Chancellor Prof D S Hernwal provided a comprehensive overview of the university’s key achievements and milestones.
The visiting military officials were also given a tour of the university’s state-of-the-art infrastructure. Expressing his appreciation, Lt Gen Pendharkar remarked: “It is incredible to see such advanced infrastructure developed in the remote parts of our country. The dedication and hard work of the university officials are truly commendable.”
Earlier, the distinguished guests were warmly received by the AUS Vice-Chancellor along with other university officials.
