ITANAGAR, Feb 3: The All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) leadership dispute has reportedly been settled and the Association will be led by its president Jamru Ruja.
This was informed by ANYA president Jamru Ruja himself, while addressing media persons at the Arunachal Press Club here today. Due to some miscommunication earlier, there were two ANYA groups; one was led by Ruja and the other was led by Hillang Tad.
“But after the intervention of former ANYA leader Gida Punnung, the matter was amicably resolved. Now there is only one ANYA and all have decided to tirelessly work for the welfare of the Nyishi community,” Ruja said.
He welcomed and appreciated the decision of the Hillang Tad team. He further appealed to all the community members to support the decision and urged them to not try and divide ANYA.
Gida Punnung also addressed the press conference along with Ruja. He highlighted the ANYA leadership dispute and how the matter was resolved after discussion. He also announced that there is only one ANYA led by Jamru Ruja and requested the community and the media not to be confused with the matter anymore.
