Natung inaugurates Naharlagun Fire Station; flags off 8 fire tenders, 10 bikes

ITANAGAR, Apr 14: In a bid to fortify fire fighting in the State, Home Minister Mama Natung today inaugurated Naharlagun Fire Station & Emergency Services and flagged off eight new fire tenders meant for various places across the State, besides 10 motorcycles to strengthen emergency response in Arunachal Pradesh.

The fire tenders have been procured for places like Itanagar, Sangram, Tali and Tezu, among others.

Natung made the inauguration and flag off, in presence of MLA-cum-Advisors Techi Kaso & Mutchu Mithi, IMC Mayor Tame Phassang and IGP cum Director Fire & Emergency Services Chukhu Apa.

Taking to his ‘X’ account, the Minister said: “Inaugurated Naharlagun Fire Station & flagged off new fire tenders to strengthen emergency response in Arunachal.”

He further added, saying: “Inaugurated the Naharlagun Fire Station & Emergency Services and flagged off 8 fire tenders & 10 motorcycles to combat tragic fire accidents in state, accompanied by HMLA cum Advisors @Mutchu4 Ji, @KasoTechi Ji, Hon’ble Mayor IMC @tamephassangBJP Ji, IGP cum Director Fire & Emergency Services Chuku Apa Ji.
