Preparations reviewed for 42nd NTPC Sub-Junior National Archery C’ship

Itanagar, Nov 10: A coordination meeting of the Arunachal Archery Association and stakeholder departments of the Papum Pare district administration was held today at the DC Conference Hall, Yupia, to review and finalize logistical arrangements for the upcoming 42nd NTPC Sub-Junior (Recurve, Compound & Indian Round) National (Boys & Girls) Archery Championship.

The national event is scheduled to take place from November 22 to 30 at the Golden Jubilee Outdoor Stadium, Yupia, under the aegis of the Arunachal Archery Association.

During the meeting, issues related to water supply, electricity, sanitation, medical assistance, and police coordination were discussed in detail. Gaps in preparedness were identified, and necessary directives were issued to ensure the smooth conduct of the championship.

On the occasion, Papum Pare district Superintendent of Police Taru Gusar formally launched the logo of the 42nd Sub-Junior National Archery Championship, symbolizing the commencement of preparations. He termed the event a major opportunity for young archery talents in the state and assured full cooperation from the Police Department.

Arunachal Archery Association president Tadar Niglar expressed optimism that the championship would highlight the state’s inherent archery skills and provide a platform for young talents to excel nationally.

The meeting was attended by AC Bengia Yakar, officials from Electrical, Urban Development, PHED, Health, DIPRO, and Sports departments, along with members of the Arunachal Archery Association.
