Indian Army conducts Project NAVBHARAT at Likabali to inspire youth

Itanagar, May 23: The Spearhead Division of the Spear Corps organised an inspiring programme under Project NAVBHARAT at Likabali along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh boundary on Saturday, aiming to motivate youth towards becoming responsible citizens of a Viksit Bharat.

The initiative reflected the Indian Army’s continuous efforts to connect with the youth and strengthen the spirit of national unity and service, officials said.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Likabali and nearby Silapathar, who took part in various educational and motivational activities organised by the Indian Army.

As part of the programme, special lectures and short films based on Operation Sindoor were presented to inspire the younger generation through stories of bravery, determination and selfless service to the nation. The sessions instilled a sense of patriotism and encouraged students to contribute positively towards society and nation-building.

Participants were also given an operational briefing showcasing the preparedness, discipline and operational capabilities of the Indian Army. A static display of weapons and military equipment generated keen interest among students and visitors alike.

Additionally, a detailed lecture on the success of Operation Sindoor was conducted at Commerce College, Silapathar, highlighting the Indian Army’s professionalism and unwavering commitment towards national security.

The programme successfully strengthened civil-military relations and left participants inspired by the values of courage, discipline and patriotism upheld by the Indian Army.
