SEPPA, Jun 24: In an event here, the East Kameng district administration alongside Adhyayan Foundation, in collaboration with Great Eastern CSR, today announced the distribution of 88 library book kits to government schools in the district.
These kits include over 90 storybooks tailored for students in grades 1, 2, and 3, aiming to enhance educational resources and foster a love for reading and lifelong learning among primary-grade students.
Gracing the event, ADC Himanshu Nigam highlighted the crucial role of local teachers in advancing education within East Kameng and underscored the value of community involvement in the educational sector.
BEO cum DDSE in-charge Asing Lamgu emphasised on the significance of fostering reading habits and the impact of books during early childhood.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Hengam Riba, Program Manager at Adhyayan Quality Education Foundation. She expressed deep gratitude to the district administration for their unwavering support in making this initiative a success. (DIPRO)
