BOLENG, Jun 25: Rumgong MLA cum Advisor to Minister (Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary & Dairy Development, and Fisheries) Talem Taboh made an official visit to Jomlo Farm (Agriculture, Horticulture & Veterinary) at Jomlo Mobuk circle in Siang district on Monday and inspected the farm’s facilities.
During the visit, the Advisor interacted with government officers, farm staff and local people and discussed all aspects and measures that can boost agri-horti production and piggery development in the farm.
Siang District Agriculture Officer Tagang Jerang informed that Jomlo agriculture farm is one of the oldest government farms in Arunachal Pradesh and it was established in the year 1968. District Veterinary Officer Dr Anthony Pertin presented a status report of the Jomlo piggery farm.
The visit concluded with the advisor praising the dedication and hard work of farm’s staff, reiterating the government’s commitment to providing continued support for initiatives that promote sustainable and cutting-edge agricultural systems. (DIPRO)
