Sopo, Aug 23: Doimukh MLA Nabam Vivek has inaugurated a new parking shed and handed over an ambulance to the Health and Wellness Center (HWC), Sopo under Rose Panchayat segment, marking a significant step forward in enhancing the healthcare infrastructure of the area.
The ambulance has been donated by NEEPCO, Pare Hydro Project under its CSR initiative.
In his address, Vivek emphasized the importance of such infrastructures in providing seamless access to healthcare services. While flagging off the ambulance, he said, “Access to timely medical care can make all the difference in saving lives. This ambulance will enhance the capacity of the Health and Wellness Center, Sopo to respond swiftly to emergencies, thereby improving health outcomes for our community.”
The ambulance was handed over by Sania Ngurang, HoP, NEEPCO Pare Hydro Project in the presence of Papum Pare DMO Dr Rina Ronya, PRI members, doctors and public leaders of the area. (DIPRO)
