PASIGHAT, Feb 4: The East Siang District Administration, led by Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu, bade a warm farewell to IPR officer HK Roy on attaining the age of superannuation on January 31 last after serving the state’s Information and Public Relations Department for more than 36 years.
DC Tayi Taggu while honouring HK Roy in a farewell function in the DC’s conference hall here on Monday appreciated his exemplary work culture who has dedicatedly worked in East Siang as APRO at the time of his retirement. The officers and other staff present honoured Roy’s remarkable service.
The DC wished him a healthy and happy post-retirement life, while adding that Roy’s dedication and service to the people of Arunachal Pradesh will always be remembered and cherished.
Joining in the technical division in the beginning of his service and known for his writing flair, Roy contributed immensely in the publicity and PR duties serving the people of East Kameng, Tawang and East Siang districts.
He joined the Govt service in 1988 and retired on January 31, 2025. (DIPRO)
