East Siang DC reviews ongoing state, Central schemes at DLMC meeting

PASIGHAT, Feb 4: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu on Tuesday reviewed the progress of various ongoing State and Centrally Sponsored Schemes implemented by the Government departments, Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) and the Smart City Mission during the monthly District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting at the DC’s conference hall here on Tuesday.

The DC called for inter departmental coordination for smooth and successful achievement of the development projects. He also asked the HoDs for submitting innovative project proposals for the upcoming State Budget 2025-26.

Some of the key projects reviewed during the meeting were the status of upgradation of Bakin Pertin General Hospital to 300-bedded hospital, augmentation of water supply for Pasighat township, Vatsalaya Sadan, Pasighat Solid Waste Management, infrastructure works at Arunachal Pradesh University, etc.

The DC also took stock of the status of beneficiary schemes under Chief Minister Social Security Schemes, agriculture and allied sectors, rural development including ongoing projects, Pasighat Smart City Projects and Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC).

DPO Tatak Mibang, Pasighat Smart City Development Corporation Ltd (PSCDCL) CEO Dr Manjuli Komut, Municipal Executive Officer (PMC) Jayanti Pertin, HoDs,  and SRA Benjamin Tabing were among others who attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
