KHONSA, Jun 9: Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and promotion of sports in remote regions, Assam Rifles has extended financial support of Rs 10,000 to two talented Wushu players from Tirap district - Avilash Dutta and Anok Pansa.
The duo has been selected to represent Arunachal Pradesh in the 34th Senior National Wushu Championship, scheduled to be held later this month at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
This initiative by Assam Rifles not only eases the financial burden on the young athletes but also serves as a powerful motivation for aspiring sportspersons in the district, reinforcing a culture of discipline, determination, and pride in the region’s sporting potential.
Meanwhile, DC Tirap Techu Aran has extended support to both Tirap’s pride! Rs 10,000 aid has been extended to Wushu champs Avilash Dutta and Anok Pansa as they gear up for the 34th Senior National Wushu Championship in Jaipur, aimed at boosting dreams, building champions.
