ITANAGAR, Sep 23: The State-Level Science Seminar 2025, held under the theme “Quantum Age Begins: Potentials and Challenges”, concluded on Friday last with remarkable enthusiasm and academic engagement at the auditorium of Mallo Tarin Government Higher Secondary School here. The seminar served as a vibrant platform for young minds to explore the transformative possibilities and ethical dilemmas posed by quantum technologies.
Gracing the event, Director of Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science and Technology, Dept of Science and Technology, GoAP, C D Mungyak, delivered an inspiring keynote on the strategic relevance of quantum research in shaping India's scientific future.
Chairing the programme, Deputy Director of Secondary Education S Rongrang emphasized the importance of nurturing scientific curiosity and critical thinking among the students. A panel of judges comprising Dr Hage Doley, Dept of Physics, DNGC Itanagar, Dr Chiging Sonia, Dept of Physics, nerist, and Neelam Kuma, Scientist B, APSCS&T, evaluated the students’ presentations.
The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from across the state, with 20 students participating from 20 districts of the state. After a competitive round of presentations, 1st place was bagged by Aryan Parasar of class IX, VKV Itanagar, Hemant Choudhary of class IX, VKV Tezu came second and 3rd position was clinched by Binek Taggu of class X, PM SHRI GSS, Boleng.
The seminar was hosted by PM SHRI Government Higher Secondary School Arunodaya, Itanagar, and coordinated under the guidance of the Director of Secondary Education, GoAP.
