KANUBARI, Sep 28: Joining the rest parts of the State, the BJP 58-Kanubari Mandal in collaboration with the Longding District BJP unit today facilitated the live screening of the 126th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at the Kanubari polling booth.
Speaking on the occasion, Agriculture Minister Grabial D Wangsu conveyed thanks to the State BJP for selecting his Assembly constituency, Kanubari as one of the locations for lve screening of MKB, and lauded the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In his address, State Convener MKB & Chairman APIDFC Ltd Nani Lajie highlighted that Mann Ki Baat, which began in 2014, has evolved into a true “people’s programme,” inspiring citizens with stories of innovation, service, and nation-building. He also emphasized the importance of collective responsibility and grassroots participation in shaping a stronger and more self-reliant India.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and MLAs listened to the MKB programme at Ziro.
The event at Kanubari witnessed enthusiastic participation from a cross-section of leaders and karyakartas, which also included Junty Singpho (State general secretary), Nima Sangey (Member & Chairman, Resource Mobilization), Mida Perme (District In-Charge), the District and Mandal teams, ADC Longding, and other dignitaries.
Later in the day, Wangsu, Lajie, Sangey, Tangpho Wangnam (ex-MLA), Singpho, ADC Longding, and other dignitaries attended the GST Bachat Utsav at Longding Market. The Minister-led team also participated in a tree-plantation drive under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ at the Govt Hr Sec School, Longding.
