Free health camp organised at Alinye under ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’

Anini, Sep 28: As part of the nationwide health initiative “Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan”, the District Hospital, Anini, successfully organised a free health camp at the Health & Wellness Centre, Alinye.

The camp offered a wide range of healthcare services including NCD screening, laboratory tests, counselling, AYUSH services, dental care, specialist consultations, RBSK screening, ANC check-ups and immunization.

Over 80 people from the community benefitted from the services. Beneficiaries also availed support under flagship health insurance schemes such as CMAAY and PMJAY, ensuring wider access to affordable and quality healthcare.

The programme was inaugurated by MLA cum Advisor to Minister Tourism, Civil Aviation, Geology & Mining, Mopi Mihu, in the presence of ZPC Theko Tayu, Deputy Commissioner Bekir Nyorak, DMO Hankham Tangjang, CO Dindie Hibu, and DTO Lamwang Aran. Dignitaries visited the health kiosks, interacted with healthcare professionals, and appreciated the comprehensive services provided to raise awareness on preventive and inclusive healthcare.

The initiative, aligned with the theme “Healthy Women, Empowered Families”, marks a significant step towards strengthening community health and building healthier, happier, and more resilient societies. (DIPRO)
