New Delhi, Oct 18: As the nation prepares to celebrate the festival of lights, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a Diwali Bonanza offering exciting plans and benefits for customers across India.
Valid from October 18 to November 18 next, the festive campaign brings together connection, convenience, and celebration under the theme “Lighting up connections, spreading festive cheer.”
Welcoming new users this festive season, BSNL has introduced a Re 1 Diwali 4G Plan, offering one month of free mobile service. For a token payment of just Re 1, customers get unlimited calls, 2GB data per day, and 100 SMS daily for 30 days.
“This plan is our gift to the nation — an invitation to experience our Make-in-India 4G network,” said A Robert J Ravi, CMD, BSNL.
Existing customers recharging Rs 100 and above on October 18, 19, or 20 through the BSNL Self-Care App or website will be entered into a daily lucky draw, where 10 winners will receive 10-gram silver coins each day. For enterprises, BSNL is offering Corporate Combo Offers, providing a 10% discount on the first month’s bill for businesses availing 10 or more postpaid connections along with one FTTH line.
‘Gift a Recharge’ and Sr Citizen Plan: The new ‘Gift a Recharge’ feature allows users to send prepaid recharges with personalized festive messages, along with an extra 2.5% value for the recipient. BSNL has also launched a Senior Citizen Plan (1812) offering 2GB/day data, unlimited calls, 100 SMS/day, and six months of free BiTV premium entertainment — valid for one year.
“Our elders are the eternal flame of our families. This plan is a tribute to their wisdom and blessings,” said the CMD.
‘Save a Little, Share a Little’: Prepaid users on Rs 485 and Rs 1,999 plans will receive a 5% festive benefit — half as an instant discount and half donated to social welfare causes.
With offers spanning every customer segment, BSNL aims to strengthen bonds of togetherness through digital connectivity. As BSNL aptly puts it — “This Diwali, let’s keep every diya of communication glowing.”
