Arunachal BJP pays tribute to former state president late Taba Hare

Itanagar, Oct 29: The Arunachal Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday held a solemn condolence programme at its headquarters here to pay heartfelt tribute to former State president of the party, Taba Hare, who breathed his last on Tuesday after prolonged illness. Senior party leaders, office bearers, and members gathered to honour his life, legacy, and immense contributions to the BJP and the state.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP’s state general secretary Tadar Niglar highlighted the remarkable journey and dedicated service of Late Taba Hare. He recalled that Hare played a pivotal role in strengthening the BJP’s foundation in Arunachal Pradesh and worked tirelessly to expand its organizational reach and ideological base.

Late Taba Hare Ji’s contributions went beyond politics — he was a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the State Silver Medal, IFCSAP Ratna Award, and Sant Eshwar Award, in recognition of his outstanding service and excellence, Niglar said.

Hare began his political journey as the state general secretary in the BJP’s ad-hoc committee in 1994, and was later elevated to State President in 2004. Under his dynamic leadership, the BJP achieved a historic milestone by winning both Lok Sabha seats from Arunachal Pradesh that year.

Following the condolence meeting, a team led by BJP State president Kaling Moyong, along with Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, and others, visited Late Hare’s residence at Dobam village, Karsingsa, where they met the bereaved family members, offered floral tributes, and paid their final respects by draping the party flag over his mortal remains as a mark of honour and gratitude — a long-standing BJP tradition to pay homage to its former State Presidents.

Deeply mourning the passing of Taba Hare, and praying for eternal peace to the departed soul, the party said his dedication, leadership, and selfless service will continue to inspire BJP karyakartas and the people of Arunachal Pradesh for generations to come.
