BOMDILA, Oct 30: A meeting of the Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC) was held today at the Bomdila Circuit House premises under the chairmanship of Pramod Jain, Chairman of the ARC.
The meeting reviewed the developmental plans and implementation of various schemes under the Gram, Block, and District Plans. The Chairman also interacted with GBs, PRI members, and civil society representatives to understand local issues and grievances at the grassroots level.
During the session, Jain discussed key aspects of administrative reforms with the heads of departments (HoDs), GBs, and PRI members, emphasizing the need for improved governance, transparency, and citizen-centric service delivery.
A PowerPoint presentation detailing the demographic profile of the district and ongoing development initiatives was also showcased during the meeting.
ARC Member Hento Karga elaborated on the roles and functions of the Commission, and addressed matters related to the Panchayati Raj system and participatory planning at the grassroots level.
The meeting served as an important platform to assess administrative practices and explore ways to strengthen institutional efficiency and local governance in the district.
