TUTING, Nov 6: The Department of Agricultural Engineering, NERIST, organized a training cum demonstration programme of improved tools and machines at Tuting, Upper Siang district, in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra - Upper Siang on November 4 last. More than 70 farmers participated in the programme, sponsored by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) through All India Coordinated Research Project on Ergonomics and Safety in Agriculture and Allied Sector, NERIST centre, Nirjuli.
