Arunachal Pradesh Pavilion inaugurated at 44th India International Trade Fair

Itanagar, Nov 15: The Arunachal Pradesh State Pavilion was inaugurated at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on Friday.

Minister for Commerce and Industries, Nyato Dukam, formally opened the pavilion, highlighting Arunachal’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and the state’s focus on sustainable development.

Set up by the Department of Trade and Commerce, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh, the pavilion features 28 enterprises and companies, including women self-help groups, food processing units, tea producers, adventure tourism promoters, FPOs/FPCs, and agro-horti and spice-based entrepreneurs. 

The IITF, themed “Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat,” also hosts participants from 12 countries.

Commending the department for creating a national platform for local entrepreneurs, Minister Dukam said the IITF helps strengthen India’s trade presence globally while celebrating its cultural diversity.

He encouraged exhibitors to maximise the opportunity, adding, “The Trade & Commerce Department is supporting entrepreneurs by providing free exhibition space and facilitating their stay in the national capital.”

Trade & Commerce Secretary Tai Kaye said Arunachal Pradesh’s participation in IITF aims to give entrepreneurs national-level exposure, help them build business linkages with wholesale and retail buyers, and adopt sustainable and market-driven trade practices.

The Arunachal Pradesh Pavilion is expected to draw significant attention from visitors, showcasing the state’s unique products, cultural richness, and rising entrepreneurial spirit.
