Unity March carried out in KP

ITANAGAR, Nov 15: In an effort to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as the Iron Man of India, ‘MY Bharat Keyi Panyor’, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India, organized a Unity March (Sardar@150) to honour his enduring legacy of unity, patriotism, and national integration.

The march aimed not only to commemorate Sardar Patel’s contribution to the nation’s unity but also to inspire today’s youth towards building a Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 500 youth, who joined the padyatra that was flagged off by former Minister cum APEDA Chairman Taba Tedir.

As part of the programme, a special initiative titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, a tree plantation drive, was also carried out to promote environmental awareness and the importance of a clean and green environment.

The event served as a reminder of Sardar Patel’s vision of a united India and his timeless ideals that continue to guide the nation’s progress.
