Kol-Ita IndiGo services to resume today

ITANAGAR, Dec 11: The IndiGo flight services from Donyi Polo Airport, Itanagar are “set” to be back on track from tomorrow, with the resumption of Kolkata-Delhi flights in the wake of the recent nationwide cancellations of the Airlines services.

Announcing this, the Airport Authority of India (AAI), Donyi Polo Airport, Itanagar, stated that IndiGo Airlines has “fully” resumed operations effective from 12th December, 2025 with commencement of operations of Kolkata to Delhi flight, following the recent nationwide cancellations of IndiGo flights.

Speaking to media, the AAI, Donyi Polo Airport, Itanagar, Director P Narendra stated that during the temporary disruption, the Donyi Polo Airport team ensured that all passengers were kept thoroughly informed about the latest updates through a dedicated helpline activated at Itanagar Airport. Continuous communication and on-ground support were provided to minimize inconvenience to travellers.

 “Even during the disruption period the flight from Itanagar to New Delhi was normal and passengers were more in comparison to other days. The passengers have been worried about the services and several calls received on a daily basis but we have been in constant touch with our valued passengers from time to time,” the Director added.

Referring to the immigrant issue raised by various organizations in Arunachal Pradesh, the Airport Director stated that a counter is already there in the Airport campus as most passengers come up with ILP but for those passengers who do not possess proper ILP can get their ILP on temporary basis as per requirement, as in case of tourists and other purposes. 

Meanwhile, the AAI, Donyi Polo Airport, Itanagar, has extended its sincere gratitude to all passengers for their patience, cooperation, and understanding during the affected period.
