KVK, LS holds training-cum-input distribution program

ZIRO, Dec 17: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Lower Subansiri organized a training-cum-input distribution programme for farmers of the district with sponsorship from ICAR–National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms (NBAIM), Kushmaur (UP).

During the programme, Dr Pema Khandu Goiba, SMS (Soil Science), delivered training on natural farming practices, emphasizing soil health management and the use of biological inputs.

Dr Joram Tatam also trained the farmers on common diseases in poultry and their management, highlighting preventive measures and improved poultry health practices.

As part of the programme, agricultural inputs supported by ICAR–NBAIM were distributed to the participants. A total of 30 farmers participated in the programme and actively interacted with the scientists.

The programme concluded with an interactive discussion session.
